If anyone had any apprehension about Africa's stylish leap into the fashion world, Gaborone Fashion Week succeeded in erasing those doubts. Organized by my good friend Koketso Chiepe in conjunction with Lapologa Magazine, the fashion weekend was a resounding success. With an appearance from Quincy Combs (P.Diddy's son), Editor of ARISE Magazine Helen Jennings and Pop Africana Editor Oroma Elemwa the event had no shortage of trendy taste-makers. Guys, I personally get really excited about events like this because they showcase the best in what African designers have to offer. The continent is seriously exploding with talent!
