"My kids can do whatever the hell they want. For me to say otherwise would be hypocritical. A lot of motherfuckers don’t have a relationship with their kids, and that’s when they get on drugs and have suicidal thoughts and drive drunk. Me and my son is mellow. I’m his father, so I wanna show him the proper way because he looks up to me. What better way to get it than from the master?"

When does Rihanna sleep? I guess that's why she decided to just roll out her bed in her pajama look huh? Chris Brown's ex was snapped last night at Jay-Z's 40/40 club opening at Barclay Center in Brooklyn. The 'Diamonds' singer wore a silk two piece pajama set that left many scratching their heads. Alicia Keys dishes on her music video with Beyonce

The good folks over at Essence Magazine recently sat down with "Girl On Fire" singer Alicia Keys. If you are an R&B fan like me, then you know about the song she recorded with Beyonce a few years ago called "Put It in a Love Song". The track was featured on Mrs Beatz's album and was supposed to be released after images from the video shoot caused a frenzy on the web. Well the music video mystery might be solved, check out what Alicia had to say about the video ever seeing the light of day.

ESSENCE.com: Finally, fans have been dying to know what ever happen to the "Put It In a Love Song" video you shot with Beyoncé?

KEYS: Ohhh man! Y'all aren't going to leave me alone about that! Sometimes with creative things [it] all comes together and it's (makes perfection kissing noise) and sometimes things almost come together and it's better to just leave it. So we love that song. We had a ball shooting the video. It just so happens that the whole thing, for some reason or another, didn't quite come together so we just decided to leave it. And that's what happened.

Tameka Raymond's Turn: Usher's ex-wife SPEAKS out about his cheating

When I watched Usher's interview with Oprah a few weeks ago, all I could think about was hearing his ex-wife Tameka Raymond's side of the story. Well, Usher's baby mama and former wife  is speaking out and what she has say to say make shock the crap out of you. In her first ever televised interview Tameka is airing out all their dirty laundry. On the subject of her famous ex-husband's philandering ways with a bridesmaid she says "He admited to sleeping with one of the two. It was very disappointing revelation. I had suspected it for some time" Now this is where she lost me, she continues on "I hate to say it, but I somewhat emphathize with her..She fell into somewhat of a trap"

What the what? Hold up I have a few questions:
***One of the two? He slept with two of your bridesmaids? Isnt that just the whole wedding party? Aww hell no!!
***Tameka please dont make excuses for this cheating a** woman. She was a bridesmaid in your wedding and slept with your husband, how on earth do you emphathize with what?
***Why did she have to sit down with ET? Did they pay a lot of money for this interview?

Welp, this pretty much solidifies the fact that Real Housewife of Atlanta NeNe Leakes has officially "made it". The former stripper appears in the October edition of Vogue Magazine with fellow cast members from NBC's new hit sitcom 'The New Normal'. Not letting being a new grandma slow down her sense of style, NeNe was dressed in a Stella McCartney dress and Guiseppe Zanotti platform heels for the Vogue shoot. Go 'head Linnethia, you are indeed stepping into being the "rich bitch" you proclaimed to be last season on RHOA!

What happened when I met the Brooklyn Nets Billionaire...

Outside of the Barclays Center!

With only 4 hours of sleep, I woke up bright and early on Friday morning to take a trip to downtown Brooklyn for a very special occasion. It was the big opening of the much talked about Barclays Center Arena! The state of the art facility will house groundbreaking concerts and of course be home to basketball team the Brooklyn Nets. So guys while I was there, I got a chance to meet the owner of the Brooklyn Nets Russian billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov! This man was so tall I thought he was a former basketball player when I first saw him. He is completely unassuming so imagine my shock when I found out how ridiculously wealthy and successful this man is. More on him later. Check out these pics from inside the venue!

The ribbon cutting ceremony! NYC Michael Bloomberg was one of the speakers. He told us he took the subway in from his house to get to Barclays!

Our tour guide! Did you know that Brooklyn has more 2.6 people and is on track to be the fourth largest city in the US?

The facility has ~18,000 seats, four bars/lounges, a practice court and the 40/40 club and so MUCH more!

No sign of Jay-Z at the opening! Jigga man will however open the building with a concert on September 28 and will perform for 8 nights total.

 Before we took this pic, I congratulated Mikhail on a job well done. Honestly speaking, the arena is pretty sweet. It is not only an entertainment space but also an amazing piece of architectural work. And that was it. Mikhail went on his merry little way. Must be nice to be a billionaire right?? Man oh man!!

Who's the biggest star of them all? Beyonce, Jay-Z and President Barack Obama in ONE pic!

It's safe to say that last night's fundraiser for President Barack Obama was a resounding success. Organized by power couple Jay-Z and Beyonce the pair managed to raise over 4 million for the President's re-election campaign.

Held at Jay-Z's NYC 40/40 club Beyonce introduced the President saying "she believed in his vision". POTUS in turn referred to the Carters in a very familiar tone saying " Let me just begin by saying to Jay and Bey, thank you so much for your friendship. We are so grateful. Michelle and Malia and Sasha are mad because they are not here"

Who run the world? Pretty much everyone in this picture!

Roughly 100 people attended the fundraiser and shelled out over $40,000 per ticket. WOWZERS! That's somebody's salary! Must be nice! President Obama closed his speech out by saying that Beyonce is a role model for his daughters. Hmm I love Bey but I'm not sure about her being a role model for young girls. What do you think? Drop dead gorgeous Denzel Washington covers GQ Magazine

I have a confession. I don't have many celebrity crushes but there is just one man that just does if for me. Yes y'all 58 year old Denzel Washington is the very definition of eye candy, swag and complete sex appeal. Ain't that salt and pepper hair just working for him? Ok enough swooning, lets get to some highlights from the GQ cover story.

Denzel on Whitney Houston

Washington still spoke somewhat regularly with Whitney Houston, his co-star in “The Preacher’s Wife,” prior to her death.

We were not “‘talk every month’ friends,” he says, “but I talked to her from time to time. And that was a monster drug that got ahold of her, it was a mean one. You can’t go back to that one.”

He adds: “You know, they made her this thing. She had a voice, obviously, but they packaged her into this whole whatever, but she was really just this humble, sweet girl. Me and Lenny [Kravitz], we were talking about her yesterday, and it's more of an example to me or the rest of us to keep it together.”

When asked how he feels about Obama’s endorsement of same-sex marriage, Washington avoids taking a stance.

At first he responds with, “What did he say about it?” Then, when told what the president said, he asks, “What does that mean?” Ultimately, Washington opts to stay out of the fray on the subject: “You know, I think people have the right to believe what they want to believe. And people have the right to disagree with it.”

Speaking of politics, Washington defines himself as an independent.

“In some ways I'm liberal, and other ways I'm conservative,” he says. “We get so locked in on ‘you have to be this or that.’ It's ridiculous.”

And back to Washington’s approach to celebrity:

“That's not my job to put stuff out there,” says the movie star who plays his life close to the vest. “Sidney Poitier told me this years ago: ‘If they see you for free all week, they won't pay to see you on the weekend, because they feel like they've seen you. If you walk by the magazine section in the supermarket and they've known you all their life, there’s no mystery. They can't take the ride.’ My professional work is being a better actor. I don't know how to be a celebrity.”

South African born beauty Leanne Kistan Dlamini has landed a plush spot as a final on the UK version of X-Factor. Receiving a resounding YES from all 3 judges Leanne is on to the next round. As I mentioned before, the mommy of one and I are distant relatives. She is married to Sipho Dlamini who is a distant cousin of mine. Crazy right?? The songstress is already an established award winning singer in South Africa and some critics are crying foul about her being allowed to audition. I obviously don't agree with that, Leanne is trying to break into an international market, what better to do so than via an internationally renowned show. Get it girl!! Check out her audition tape:

Top 5 WTF Moments from Oprah's interview with Usher

Mama O just wrapped her much anticipated interview with singer Usher on OWN a few hours ago and Baby, it was that was the ONE show to watch tonight. It was an uncomfortable, revealing and Usher like you have never seen him before! I mean the "Climax" singer let it ALL out and didn't hold back in the sit down chat. Was I the only one on the edge of my seat during the whole thing? In case you missed it, fret not my friend. Check out my list of the top 5 WTF moments from tonight's interview

1. Usher cheated with who?!?
One of the pesky rumors that has persisted for a while was that the singer had cheated on his ex-wife Tameka during their marriage. Not only did Usher admit that he did indeed cheat but my dude also admitted to creeping with a bridesmaid. Now ain't that some issh? People have often labeled Tameka as crazy but can you imagine your husband cheating with your friend? That's enough to drive even the most sane woman over the edge.

2. Mommy Issues
During the hour long chat Usher's Mom joined in on the interview and also sat down with Mama O.  Filmed at the Grammy Award winner's house in Atlanta, it was nice to see a glimpse of Usher's home life. For example, I loved the tree house that he built for his kids. They are so incredibly fortunate. Speaking of the Ursher's house, guess who lives 5 minutes away? His Mama! Chile, does that not sound like some serious Mommy issues? I get that he travels a lot so his Momma has to be close but dang five minutes away? Adding fuel to the fire, Oprah posed the question about whether anyone would EVER be good enough for her son. Jonetta replied "yes" but Usher was sheepishly laughing on the side, possibly hinting at a very different answer. Guys, Tameka didn't stand a chance. Btw, when Usher's Mama was asked about whether or not she regretted missing her son's wedding. She answered "no, I don't regret it. I just couldn't embrace it". Well damn! But the singer now admits that his Mom was right all along and that he should have listened to her advice about Tameka.

3. No mention of Grace Miguel
Usher has been a relationship with former Def Jam executive Grace Miguel for quite some time now. How come that didn't get any mention during the show? What does Mama Jonetta think of Grace? Are they planning on getting married and having kids? So many questions..I would have liked to have them talk about a little bit. You ever notice that Usher has a thing for older women? Grace, Chilli, Tameka..y'all what is that about? No shade, but what makes him attracted to the cougars? That's another question I would have added to my list

4. Usher makes loves to Usher
The R&B crooner also revealed that when it's take to get busy in the bedroom, he often reaches for his music to seal the deal. Noting that he likes to set the mood with his lucky lady, the father of 2 likes to start off his playlist with some "Luther, Teddy P, Marvin Gaye and then finish off with some Usher". The singer told Oprah that people may think it is a bit narcissistic but I actually disagree. If your own music puts you in the mood then by all means go for it!

5. He misses Kyle Glover
Guys, can we agree that Tameka is having the worst year ever? She lost her son Kyle Glover earlier this year in an unspeakable accident and just a few weeks ago a judge gave Usher primary custody of the children she has with Usher. One of the rumors that Usher confirmed tonight was that he in fact at his step-son Kyle's funeral. Not only was the singer at the funeral but he was also at the burial. He also spoke about his desire to delay the custody battle because of the death in the family but he revealed to Oprah that it was Tameka who insisted that they keep the trial going. Well not only did that backfire but on Friday a judge denied Tameka's request for a re-trial. Sucks to be her right now! Someone please watch her twitter timeline. She is like a man smoking a cigarette at the gas station, she is about to blow up all over social media.

Being at the VMA's this year was an experience I will probably NEVER forget in my life. But even being on the red carpet, I'm always curious about what really happens behind the scenes at these outrageous award shows. Well an MTV exec is spilling deets about the going's on. Check out what he says happened after that  infamous VMA moment with Yeezy and Taylor Swift!

Toffler: “There’s no way any of us could have predicted that — we didn’t orchestrate it. He came with a bottle of alcohol, so he was in a festive mood to begin with. But we all were in shock in the [production] truck when he walked up on stage and took the mic from Taylor. I remember turning to one of the producers and going, ‘Do we not have security?’ [But] we don’t put those big bulky guys on camera in front of the talent. Maybe this guy thought Kanye belonged on the stage.

I said to our line producer, ‘You need to go talk to Kanye and probably have him exit the building, and I will go deal with Taylor.’ And she was about to perform right after that break! She was a champ. I would be lying if I said she and her mom weren’t crying when I saw them, but she pulled it together. This was one of the most absurd VMA moments for me, having to talk to her and her mom, and they’re crying and upset, and this was her first time on the VMAs, and she had been used to working on country shows with polite artists. This was a little bit more chaotic than she was used to. And then I walked back behind the stage to find Beyoncé crying about the incident. Ultimately I talked to her and her dad and then went back to Taylor after her performance, and an hour later Beyoncé brought Taylor back out so she could have her moment.

I know. It's only Tuesday but my week has been so good already, I just had to post a few pictures on the blog. I got back from LA from the MTV VMA's this weekend and got right into the swing of things at New York Fashion Week!

Then last night, I was invited press at the Strut for Moms fashion show back at the Mercedes Benz tents

Actress Lisa Rinna and a bunch of other fabulous moms walked the show! It was one of the more enjoyable shows that I have attended thus far!

And outside, I spotted Joan Rivers filming a segment of Fashion Police!

Phew, I'm tired just looking at all the pictures. But what a fun time, Thursday and Friday will be even better. Watch this space!

Did you see Chris Brown's new CRAZY tattoo?!?

I'm not even sure where to start with this hot mess. Singer Chris Brown recently went out and got a tattoo that depicts a battered woman on his neck. Making the situation even more peculiar is the uncanny resemblance of the tattoo to his ex-Rihanna. Why on earth did Chris do this? Is our generation's version of Ike and Tina Turner back together? But why the face tattoo in such a visible place? So many questions, I need answers! Lastly, I'm also curious as to what Breezy's current girlfriend Karreuche Tran makes of all this?
