Remember how in November 2010 talk show host Oprah Winfrey said she was "shocked to the core" when she found out that her Momma Vernita Lee had another daughter, Patricia, who she had given up for adoption shortly after her birth in 1963?

Well if you are nosy like me, you probably have wondered how the sisters are getting along after being separated for such a long time! Seems things are on the up and up and  over the weekend O tweeted a picture of her and Pat at a birthday celebration just two years after they met for the very first time. She wrote:

'Hey TweetHearts... celebrating my sister's birthday... missing the tweet party,'

Love this! I am sure Oprah spares no expense on her close friends and family! I wonder what Sis Pat got for her birthday? Hopefully she will tweet that!

Stansly Maponga makes history as first EVER Zimbabwean to get drafted into the NFL!

The Atlanta Falcons selected Texas Christian's Stansly Maponga in 2013 NFL Draft and doing so they made history. The 22 year old is the first EVER Zimbabwean to be drafted into the NFL! So freakin awesome!

Stansly was born in Zimbabwe and moved the the U.S. at age 9. He chose to forgo his final year of eligibility to enter this year's draft and clearly his big gamble paid off! The 6'2, 256 pounds star must be rolling in dough now, spend it wisely young man :)

Actress Octavia Spencer "I lost 20 lbs"..see how she did it!

Oscar winner Octavia Spencer has lost 20 pounds over the past five months and shows it off in a new promo for Sensa, the powder-like dieting product that is sprinkled on food like salt or pepper to help suppress appetite.

Hmmm how do you all feel about appetite suppressants? I will admit I'm a bit wee bit leery of them.

“My weight has always been a struggle for me,” Octavia says on the website for Sensa, for which she is a spokesperson.

“If you tell me I can’t eat something, I’ll obsess over it and end up overeating!” she continues. “So whenever I would try to lose weight on one of those restrictive diets, I would just end up gaining the weight right back.”

The Help actress says eating less and living healthier has been a key factor in her weight loss. However she doesn’t plan to go too extreme in her dieting plans.

Yep she look perfect at her current weight! She's always said that she wanted to drop the extra load so good for her for accomplishing her goal!

Seems like BRAVO TV is giving out spin-off's left right and some of them ( Kandi, Kim & Phaedra) leave a lot to be desired. But this one- I'm actually excited about it.
