Meet the African beauties at the Miss Universe competition!

The Miss Universe competition is already underway in Vegas even though the actual contest won't be broadcast on NBC until Dec 19. As you may know the current titleholder Leila Lopes is from Angola, so because of that- I don't think the crown is coming back to the motherland this year.  I don't see 2 African ladies nabbing the title back to back...BUT with the hope that I'm wrong, check the stunning African beauties at Miss Universe. Any of them hot to you?

Miss Angola 2012- Marcelina Vahekeni

Miss Tanzania 2012 - Winfrida Dominic

Miss Botswana 2012 - Sheillah Molekewa

Miss Ethiopia 2012- Helen Getachew

Miss Namibia 2012 Tsakana Nkandih

Miss Ghana 2012- Gifty Ofori

Miss South Africa 2012- Melinda Bam

Miss Nigeria 2012- Isabella Agbor Ojong

Miss Gabon 2012- Channa Divouvi

Couple of observations: 
** Melinda Bam -Miss South Africa is the strongest one in this category. I REALLY think she has a good chance of placing at Miss Universe. The competition is at this level is NUTS- Puerto Rico, Venezuela and 'em train their whole lives for this, so it's SUPER competitive.
** These dang gone one piece swimsuits. This is Miss Universe, it's all about sex appeal. The two piece bikini would have been the way to go!
** Glad the ladies weaves look decent and I am LOVING Tanzania's short crop.
